I’m partial to an intimate studio maternity session, especially at the Studio at 100. There’s just something special about the soft light, the stillness, and the quiet anticipation that fills the air. It’s a space where time seems to slow down, allowing parents-to-be to truly take in the beauty of this season.

From Disney Magic to a New Chapter

Eight years ago, Alejandro and Sonia met while working at Disney; the most magical place to start their story. 

Life eventually brought them to Connecticut, where they’ve built a beautiful life together and celebrated three wonderful years of marriage. Then, last year, they received the news that changed everything, they were expecting a baby boy! Their hearts couldn’t have been more full.

• Form fitting pieces: we know that oversized and flowy clothing can be tempting during pregnancy, however, they don’t always translate well in photos. Clothes that hug your curves and highlight your silhouette ensure that your bump is the star of the show.
  
• Soft, neutral tones: like creams, blush, sage, or dusty blue — keep the focus on you and your bump.
  
• Coordinate, don’t match: if your partner or children are joining, choose complementary colors and textures.
  
• Avoid bold logos or busy patterns that might distract from the emotion of the images.
