Farmington is known for its natural scenery and historic New England character. River areas, tree lined settings, classic architecture and textured village locations can each create a completely different senior portrait experience.
Because Farmington is outside my immediate service area, locations will be researched and confirmed before the session. This ensures that the selected setting is accessible, appropriate for professional photography and aligned with the style the senior wants.
Welcome! I've spent ten years photographing Connecticut families, and somewhere in there senior sessions became my favorite thing to shoot. You're old enough to have real opinions about how you want to look, and that makes the whole day better.
The awards are nice, but what I actually care about is that you leave feeling like yourself. My goal is to create a relaxed experience while giving each senior enough direction to feel confident in front of the camera. We will plan the setting, clothing and overall style together so the finished gallery feels personal, polished and true to who they are right now.

Popular Farmington Locations to Consider
- Hill Stead Museum and Sunken Garden: A historic setting known for its architecture and gardens. Professional photography access and any required permission or fees must be confirmed before scheduling.
- Historic Main Street: White clapboard, black shutters, stone walls, and old elms. If you want the classic, editorial New England look that never dates, this is it. Best in late afternoon when the light comes in sideways.
- Unionville: Farmington's old mill village, and the most underrated spot on this list. Brick, texture, and a little grit. Perfect if you want something moodier than a field.
- Tunxis Mead Park: Open fields, the riverfront boathouse, and a skate park all in one place. Great when you want two completely different looks without getting back in the car.
- Farmington Canal Heritage Trail: Long, straight, and tree-lined, which gives you that symmetrical tunnel of green in summer and full gold in fall. Simple and clean.
