When is the best time for maternity photos?
I recommend scheduling your session between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully visible and you are still feeling comfortable enough to move with ease.
Can my partner and other kids be included?
Absolutely. While these sessions are centered around you, your partner and children are always welcome to be part of the experience. We will create a balance of images that feel both personal and connected.
Do you have dresses I can wear?
While I do not offer a client closet, I will guide you through wardrobe selections and can recommend beautiful, flattering pieces that photograph effortlessly. Together, we will choose something that feels comfortable, elevated, and true to your personal style.
What if it rains on our shoot day?
If the weather is not ideal, we will simply reschedule. I keep a close eye on conditions leading up to your session to ensure we have the best possible light and overall experience.
Should I get my hair and makeup done?
It is completely up to you. Many women choose to have their hair and makeup done for an added sense of confidence and ease, while others prefer a more natural, everyday look. Both photograph beautifully. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself.
Do you help with posing?
Yes, always. I will guide you throughout the entire session so you feel comfortable and confident, while still allowing space for natural movement and genuine moments to unfold.
What if the weather does not cooperate?
If the weather is not ideal, we will simply reschedule. I always keep a close eye on conditions leading up to your session to ensure we have the best possible experience and light.
Where do maternity sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in my studio for a clean, minimal, and intimate feel, or outdoors in soft natural light for something more organic. I will help guide you in choosing the setting that best reflects your vision.
