North Haven is home for me. It is where I live, where I built Nicole Mele Photography and where you will find The Studio at 100. Photographing seniors from my own community feels especially personal because these are the families, schools and places that are part of my everyday life.

The Studio at 100 gives North Haven seniors an alternative to the traditional outdoor senior session. Located at 100 Broadway in North Haven, the studio offers a comfortable setting, controlled lighting and clean backgrounds for a polished and editorial inspired look.
Studio sessions are a wonderful option for seniors who prefer a more fashion focused style, want to avoid unpredictable weather or simply feel more comfortable in a private indoor environment. Depending on the collection selected, we can also discuss combining studio portraits with an outdoor setting for additional variety.
I have been photographing Connecticut families and seniors for more than ten years. My approach combines professional guidance with a relaxed atmosphere so seniors never feel as though they have to know how to pose or perform for the camera.
We will talk about personal style, interests, clothing and the types of images the senior is drawn to before the session. On the day of the session, I will provide direction while creating space for genuine movement, confidence and personality.
